Under New 10-year Contract, Hudson Will Transform Orlando International Airport into a Destination for Local Brands and Artisans
EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (June 22, 2026) – Hudson, part of global travel retail and food & beverage player Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), today announced it won a 10-year contract at Orlando International Airport (MCO) to open five travel convenience and specialty retail stores — part of Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s (GOAA) Concession Master Plan, a multi-year program to reimagine retail and restaurant offerings throughout Terminals A and B.
Spanning more than 9,800 square feet across the North Terminal Complex, Hudson’s new retail stores will be deeply inspired by the surrounding community, designed for travelers who want more than a transaction — they want a sense of place. Travelers’ favorite national brands will blend seamlessly with thoughtfully curated local finds, all within modern, memorable spaces that reflect the warmth and natural beauty of Florida. For the nearly 58 million guests who pass through MCO each year, Hudson will offer a moment to explore and discover a true taste of the Sunshine State at every turn.
“We applaud the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s bold, forward-thinking vision for Orlando International Airport, which places customer experience, innovation, and community at the heart of the travel journey,” said Steve Johnson, President & CEO, North America, Avolta. “Throughout our partnership with GOAA, we’ve worked hand in hand to enhance the airport experience, and this new vision presents an exciting opportunity to further advance that collaboration to create memorable moments for travelers for years to come.”
“Hudson’s new retail program shares GOAA’s commitment to create an airport experience that is distinctly Orlando and unmistakably Florida,” said Lance Lyttle, Chief Executive Officer of GOAA. “By combining innovative features like self-checkout technology with shops that celebrate local artisans, Florida-inspired products, and beloved regional brands, we are giving millions of travelers a stronger sense of place while making their journey more convenient, engaging and memorable.”
Beginning this fall, Hudson will unveil an exciting lineup of stores:
Dear Orlando, - Dear Orlando, will elevate the news and gift shop experience with gifts, food, apparel, and souvenirs from local makers alongside a diverse assortment of convenience items, travel essentials, tech accessories, wellness products, and grab & go options.
Adjectives - Homegrown in Orlando, Adjectives is a destination for home and lifestyle inspiration, with an assortment for MCO that will include home décor, artwork, unique gifts, and more.

Created exclusively for MCO travelers, this marketplace will feature a best-in-class selection of local goods and Hudson’s signature convenience items.
Blue Spring Collective - Blue Spring Collective will capture the essence of a local gem, Blue Spring State Park, bringing multiple local and national brands together to create a boutique-style shopping experience. From cosmetics, beauty brands, jewelry, and apparel to home décor and a dedicated kids area, this pre-security shop will cater to every airport visitor.
Orange Blossom Market – Taking its name and spirit from Florida's iconic state flower, Orange Blossom Market will invite travelers to take a piece of the Sunshine State with them. The shop will feature an artfully curated selection of locally made products and gifts, regional foods, Florida-themed toys, and one-of-a-kind apparel collections.
Digital engagement will be an essential part of the new shops, with in-store technology such as self-checkout, allowing for greater convenience and speed. Travelers will also be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Club Avolta loyalty program, gaining access to exclusive offers, rewards, and cross-promotions.
Hudson will operate the new stores with three partners: Blanca Boucree of Diamarx Management, LLC; Wendy Anderson of The W Group Consulting Firm, LLC; and Zeke Flores of Flying Retail, LLC.
