Hudson Extends Duty-paid Contract in Phoenix Sky Harbor’s Busiest Terminal
EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (June 9, 2026) – Hudson, part of global travel retail and food & beverage player Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), today announced the City of Phoenix awarded Hudson and its small business partners an eight-year contract extension at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The agreement covers over 13,100 square feet of travel retail space, reinforcing Hudson’s role in enhancing the passenger experience at one of the U.S.’ major aviation hubs.
Hudson and its small business partners currently operate a dozen travel convenience and specialty retail concepts in Terminal 4, the airport’s busiest, including traveler favorites Hudson, Connections, Phoenix Public Market, Bunky Boutique, Sunglass Hut, Earth Spirit, and Indigenous. Under the contract, Hudson will redevelop three existing stores in Terminal 4 beginning in 2029, transforming them into fresh, innovative concepts that will further elevate the retail experience at Phoenix Sky Harbor.
“We are proud to extend our partnership with the City of Phoenix,” said Steve Johnson, President and CEO, North America, Avolta. “Our continued investment in Sky Harbor reflects our confidence in Phoenix’s future as both a destination and a hub and demonstrates our commitment to enriching its vibrant airport environment.”
“Having a mix of local favorites and nationally recognized brands is important to us,” said Aviation Director Chad Makovsky. “We’re pleased to see Hudson continue to transform the retail experience in our airport to reflect the needs of our travelers and community.”
Hudson operates its Phoenix Sky Harbor retail stores with three small business partners: LAM Holdings, LLC (Lachele Mangum); Cambios Y Servicios, Inc (Melissa Trujillo and Ricardo De Leon); and The Levitt Group, LLC (Dr. Jeremy Levitt).
