Hudson Grows Presence in Florida under New Contract to Bring Its Travel Retail Experience to Palm Beach International Airport
EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Jan. 7, 2026) – Hudson, part of global travel retail and food & beverage player Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), announced today that it will soon bring its travel retail experience to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) as the airport undergoes a significant expansion and modernization to improve the passenger experience. Under a new 10-year contract, Hudson will develop four specialty retail and travel convenience stores throughout the airport — totaling more than 3,200 ft2 of concessions space.
Beginning in 2026, Hudson will begin to unveil its new retail program, which will bring a hyper-local, artfully curated shopping experience to PBI, evoking Palm Beach’s timeless blend of luxury, leisure, and local flavor.
“We are very happy to have been selected as the travel retail partner for Palm Beach International Airport, allowing us the opportunity to transform the travel experience,” said Steve Johnson, President and CEO, North America, Avolta. “PBI and Hudson share a vision to offer travelers amenities designed to make their journey as enjoyable as their final destination. We have tailored these new concepts to highlight the local culture and uniqueness of Palm Beach County while also offering national brands to cater to diverse traveler preferences.”
“We’re excited to welcome Hudson’s enhanced retail and concession concepts to PBI,” said Director of Airports Laura Beebe. “These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to offering passengers more choice, more comfort, and a true sense of Palm Beach County from the moment they arrive.”
Arriving soon at Palm Beach International Airport are:
Bit & Bridle – A curated market that will give a nod to Palm Beach County’s equestrian heritage. This specialty coffee and food destination will provide travelers with a menu inspired by local farms.
Palm Beach Illustrated – Named for the quintessential magazine of Palm Beach County that has covered the region for nearly 75 years. This unique shop will blend travel essentials and convenience with bespoke goods that prominently feature local artisans like Palm Beach Salt Company, Coco Fine Foods, and Sunshine Crunch as well as a diverse range of books by local literary talent, including Palm Beach resident and bestselling author James Patterson.
TOM FORD, M·A·C, and Jo Malone London – A specialty retail boutique that will pay homage to one of Palm Beach’s most successful and storied families, the Lauders, by bringing together three of Estée Lauder’s most iconic brands.
The Palms Market – A hyper-local shopping experience that will offer travelers last-minute travel essentials alongside a delightful assortment of Grab & Go snacks, gourmet treats, and locally sourced products that reflect Palm Beach County’s entrepreneurial spirit, like Tea Tell Truth, Delectably Wild Infusions, Dirty Bird Sauce, and Change Donuts.
Digital engagement will be an essential part of the new shopping experience, with in-store technology such as self-checkout, allowing for greater convenience and speed. Travelers will also be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Club Avolta loyalty program, gaining access to exclusive offers, rewards, and cross-promotions.
In 2024, PBI welcomed more than 8.5 million passengers and travelers voted PBI the 5th Best Airport in the U.S. in Condé Nast’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards. Travel + Leisure also named PBI the 3rd Best U.S. Airport in its 2024 World’s Best Awards and the airport was named 5th Best Medium-Size Airport in the 2025 J.D. Power North America Airport Satisfaction Study.
Hudson will operate the new locations with three local partners: Montes & Pitkonen LLC (Jose Montes), Chandler Campbelle & Daschle (Darrell Searcy), and Pioneer Concessions, LLC (Kristina Korge).
