We are looking for someone to work every Friday and Saturday, as well as coverage for our current full-time cash office associate if she is sick or away. This candidate will also work on the sales floor Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. (The position is full-time, but the cash office associate aspect of the position is part-time)

Wage $15.00 when in the cash office, $13.60 while on sales floor if the candidate wants to fill both positions. Cash office hours are day-time, they will be scheduled between the hours of 6am-4pm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately counting daily cash and credit bank deposits from multiple registers and stores
  • Reporting discrepancies and errors to Supervisors and Operations Managers for investigation and correction
  • Giving out change, phone cards, and void books for stores
  • Efficient while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Communicating with corporate office regarding IT issues
  • Producing daily and weekly sales and discrepancy reports
  • Performing secure cash pickups from airport stores
  • Counting and verifying safe contents at open and close of day
  • Following cash handling procedures and facilitating secure bank deposit pickup
  • Answering the phone in a professional manner and checking voicemail messages
  • Communicating effectively with customers, fellow employees, and management
  • Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Please note that this role is not solely limited to the duties and responsibilities as outlined above and may change with the needs of the business or at the direction of senior management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to accurately key in large amounts of data
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexible work availability (may be required to work early mornings and weekends)
  • Must be able to obtain an airport Restricted Area Pass

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent; Associates degree or above preferred
  • Previous data entry experience preferred
